It has been AWHILE since I’ve written a yummy food post…but after a prolonged summer, winter is finally here so time to turn on the oven! I wanted to do a quick, easy, and healthy meal that you could do for lunch or dinner. I am a big fan of throwing things together quickly and sticking them in the oven or crock pot, and now that the weather has gone chilly I find us cooking more oven and crock pot meals. For today’s post, a simple chicken and veggie oven recipe!

Everyone around me is in Christmas mode already!! I am still over here like…THANKSGIVING!!!
But seriously, Kevin has been in the Christmas spirit since we walked into Target 2 weeks ago. We went to pick up a tote to pack away our Halloween decor, he got one glance at the holiday section and has been singing Christmas carols ever since. I’m not saying it’s TOO early (it is mid-November after all), but I do find myself in another pickle type situation….

You guys remember how last month Kevin got me tickets to see my favorite female comedian?! Well that lead to a mini day trip to Milwaukee, WI!
We arrived at about 3pm so it wasn’t a full day to get lost in Wisconsin but since the show wasn’t until 8, we had some time to kill. At the suggestion of a friend we decided to explore the Historic Third Ward.

I know it’s been a while……my last post was over 2 weeks ago but I’ve had some personal family matters that needed more attention. With that being said, I just wanted to write a bit of a catch up post!
Like I said before October is my favorite month and a few things have been going on since I last wrote. We celebrated our 1 year wedding/marriage anniversary!! Yes it has been 1 whole year since we said I do. I can not believe how fast it went by, it’s true that the days seem to go by slow but the years pass quickly.
